From 1968 to the present, The Hall Institute of Real Estate has dominated the national residential real estate playing field with fresh, creative and very successful innovations that, over the years, have enriched thousands of Realtors and home sellers, buyers and renters.

The Institute evolved from the groundbreaking real estate training programs developed by Walter Hall, Realtors, one of the largest and most successful real estate organizations in New England. Over the years The Hall Institute has provided advanced agent and management development training and unique marketing programs to real estate firms across the nation, as well as many State Realtor Associations.

In the late 1970’s. as corporate relocation became a key business driver, The Hall Instituate recognized the growing need among corporations for professional real estate consulting and services. In response, the Institute partnered with eight of the largest US-based Realtor organizations to form Relocation Resources International. RRI grew into one of the largest relocation firms in the nation, handing the sale, purchase, mortgage financing and rental of homes of over 10,000 relocating employees each year throughout the country and around the world.

Discount Real Estate Services: Our Major Research Project

Over a five year period The Hall Institute invested over $2,000,000 to prove if a true discount real estate service could achieve an attractive, sustainable profit and, if so, could it be effectively franchised on a national basis. We found the answer to both questions was “Yes”.

HouseSavvy

Strategically, we quickly discovered that our basic marketing aim was to attract home sellers. Our research confirmed their primary objectives: get the highest price possible for the least cost. So our primary marketing campaign became what we called “Sold & Saved”. (See one of our popular Sold/Saved ads attached.)

We’ve recently packaged all the marketing and operational material and related documents used to complete the research and testing. Graduated from the University of New Hampshire, served in the U.S. military, then went on to build three successful businesses from the ground up. The first business was Walter Hall, Realtors, which grew to become one of the largest and most successful real estate firms in New England. This firm evolved into The Hall Institute of Real Estate which provided advanced real estate agent and management development training and unique marketing programs to real estate firms across the nation, as well as many State Realtor Associations. The Hall Institute developed a new concept in employee relocation called Relocation Resources International. RRI grew into one of the largest employee relocation firms in the nation, handling the sale, purchase, mortgage financing and rental of homes of over 10,000 relocating employees each year throughout the country and around the world. The author of five books on real estate and business practices, he has been long recognized as one of the leading authorities on professional practices for marketing residential real estate.
